A Burgundy wine tour costs anything from $63 to $1,510, and the fare rarely tells you what it buys until you read the small print. Here is every fare side by side, what each one includes, and how to compare a per-person price with a per-car one. If you came looking for Burgundy ticket prices, the short answer is that the region sells no single ticket.

How much does a Burgundy wine tour cost?

A 90-minute cellar tasting in Dijon costs $63. A shared full day in the vines from Dijon or Beaune costs $166 to $333 a head, with eight guests at most. The e-bike day costs $585, and the shared day from Paris to Chablis $269.

Private days start at $551 a head for a full day and reach $1,159. The cars priced as a whole run from $1,170 for up to four to $1,510 for up to two from Paris. The 2CV rentals, which you drive yourself, cost $292 to $362 for the car.

What does every fare include?

The table sorts every fare from the cheapest, with the four things that change most from one to the next: the tastings, lunch, an entry ticket and where you are collected.

Why do the fares range so widely?

Five things move the price. Length comes first: 90 minutes in a cellar against a twelve-hour day from Paris. Then who shares the car: a van of eight against your party alone. Then the basis, per person or per car. Then what is inside: lunch, an entry ticket, the number of wines. And last, where the day starts, because a Paris start adds four hours of driving.

Are the tastings in the fare?

On every shared wine day, yes: you pay once, and the domains' fees are inside. That holds from the Dijon cellar to the Grand Cru route day and the day from Paris.

A few fares are different, and you should know which before you book. The custom planner books the visits but leaves the domains' fees to you, about EUR 150-300 a head paid on the spot. The Bourgogne Gold private day names lunch and water in its fare but no tasting, so ask what its visits pour. And the villages day from Dijon dropped its tasting for 2026.

Which fares include lunch?

Lunch is in the fare on the À La Française days from Dijon (charcuterie and cheese), the e-bike day (a traditional restaurant, drinks extra), Authentica's six-cru private day (a three-course set menu, not on Sundays), the Bourgogne Gold day (a mâchon of gougères, charcuterie, cheeses and bread) and the Land Rover day.

Everywhere else, lunch is your own cost: in Beaune on the Authentica, Ophorus and À La Française private days, in Chablis on the day from Paris, and at a stop the Grand Cru route day makes for it. Budget for it.

Per person or per car: what is the difference?

A per-person fare is multiplied by your party. A per-car fare is paid once, up to the car's limit, whether one or four of you ride. The private route day from Beaune is $1,170 for up to four, the custom planner $1,399 for up to six, and the private day from Paris $1,510 for up to two.

So a per-car fare looks high on the card and can be the cheapest per head. Four people on the route day from Beaune pay about $292 each, less than one seat on the shared Grand Cru route day at $333.

What does a private day cost for two, four or six?

Here is what your party pays on the private days that take four or more. Per-person fares are multiplied; per-car fares are not.

For six, only the custom planner sells one fare for the whole party, and its domain fees are extra. The others that take six charge per person.

Why does a day from Paris cost more?

Because it is twelve hours with a driver-guide, close to four of them on the road. The shared day to Chablis costs $269 a head. The alternative is a TGV to Dijon and a shared day there from $166, plus your rail fare, which is often the cheaper route to the Côte d'Or. Which fares include an entry ticket?

Au Tour du Vin's route day and À La Française's private day both put the Clos de Vougeot's entry in the fare. The private day from Paris includes your ticket to the Hôtel-Dieu. The shared day to Chablis and the Authentica full day from Dijon both put their entrance fees in the fare.

On your own, the Clos de Vougeot's guided tour in English costs EUR 15, or EUR 7 for ages 8 to 16. The Hôtel-Dieu sells its own ticket on its booking page, with a reduced entry if you arrive with a TER ticket to Beaune under 48 hours old.

Which fares cannot be refunded?

The 2CV half day from Beaune, the Authentica six-cru and ten-cru private days, and the custom planner are non-refundable once booked. Every other fare refunds in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead, including every shared day. So if your dates may move, book those last, or book one of the refundable days instead.

What costs extra: tips, drinks and the small print?

• Drinks: drinks with lunch on the e-bike day; extra drinks on the À La Française day with a Beaune option; alcohol beyond the tastings on the Authentica ten-cru day.
