What that means in practice

The tours listed here are sold by Viator and GetYourGuide. When you follow a link from one of these pages and go on to book, the platform pays us a share of its own commission. You pay the same fare either way; the price on the booking page is the operator's price, not a marked-up one.

What we are not

We are not a tour operator. We do not run any of these tours, employ any of these guides or hold your booking. Your contract is with the operator, through the platform.

We have no connection with any domain, winery or négociant, with the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne, with the Hospices de Beaune or the Château du Clos de Vougeot, with the tourist offices of Beaune or Dijon, or with any of the places these tours stop at.

How tours get listed

Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge. A badge on a card is the platform's own, and we keep it only where the tour's figures support it: a Top rated badge stays only on a tour rated 4.9 or higher, so the platform's badge on two 4.8 listings is not shown. Some operators sell the same day on both platforms, and each appears on its own because each is separately bookable and priced.

The featured tours at the top of the homepage are three different days, one from each starting town: the Grand Cru route of the Côte de Nuits from Beaune, the Côte de Beaune whites with lunch from Dijon, and the day from Paris to Chablis.

Prices, ratings and how current they are

Prices, star ratings and review counts belong to the operators and were taken from their own listings on 18 September 2026. They move, and the figure at checkout is the one that counts. Every tour fare is quoted in US dollars because that is the currency the listings were captured in; nothing is converted at an exchange rate. Most fares are per person, and several private days need two people to book. Five are priced for the whole vehicle: the Beaune private route day for up to four, the custom planner for up to six, the private day from Paris for up to two, and the two 2CV rentals for up to two and up to four.

The sight prices we print are in euros, as each sight publishes them. The appellation figures come from the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne, the World Heritage listing from UNESCO, the Clos de Vougeot's and the Hôtel-Dieu's hours from their own sites, the wine sale from the Hospices de Beaune, and the climate normals from Météo-France. Where a detail comes from an operator's listing, such as a meeting point, a group size or a stop, it belongs to that tour.

What we deliberately do not publish

The Hôtel-Dieu's ticket price. Its booking page shows the price only inside its booking widget; buy there and you see the current figure.
A plain Clos de Vougeot admission. We print its EUR 15 guided tour, which the château publishes; the unguided price was not on the pages we read.
The Beaune tourist office's opening hours. Ask the office by telephone, +33 3 80 26 21 30.
A train time between Dijon and Beaune. Check SNCF for your own date. The Paris to Dijon times we print are one operator's example, not a timetable.
The Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne's hours and prices. Check its own site.
The 2026 Hospices de Beaune wine sale date. By tradition it falls on the third Sunday of November; we print the date once the Hospices announce it.
Listing claims no official source supports. One listing calls the whole Burgundy wine region a UNESCO site, where UNESCO lists the Climats of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune with the centres of Dijon and Beaune. Two producers' superlatives on the day from Paris are not repeated either.
